Description

Carolina is currently the literacy consultant for Scholastic Export where she trains teachers in Latin America and the Caribbean in the implementation of print and digital products in the Education Catalog of Scholastic. She has vast experience teaching English as a foreign language and has worked in various educational settings in Colombia including universities, language centers, schools, publishing houses, and even in projects with the National Ministry of Education. She holds a BA in Spanish and English from the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional in Bogotá, Colombia, an MA in Educational Technology and TESOL from the University of Manchester, and several certificates in Positive Education from the Universidad Tecmilenio in Mexico. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Flipped Learning Network, where she contributes with the international outlook of the implementation of flipped learning in Colombian classrooms. Her academic and research interests include teacher training and teacher education, designing learning experiences for teachers and students alike, flipped learning and blended learning, academic writing, educational research.
